I stumbled upon your gorgeous website when I was searching for a particular circusy font which I forgot the name but remember the shape of (and couldn’t find in my library, it was Romantique btw).
Love love your works back at Etsy. I haven’t visit your old blog and Etsy for ages, so good to finally found you again!!!

And seconding Karan, ow do you achieve the see-through effect in your blog? Do you make your white transparent? Or export it in .gif? It’s super awesome…

I love that book! I too bought it at my local op shop – I killed mine (for a worthy cause) and covered my son’s desk with it. I also used an old science encyclopedia that was just as good. It took me such a long time to get the project done because I was too busy reading about clouds and making my own electricity.

I just found your blog via one of your post punk kitchen forum posts on vital wheat gluten in Australia. I’ve got a bag of the lotus brand sitting next to my computer and I’m going to try making some chorizo sausage from the book Viva Vegan (which I loved!). I am going to check out your vegan recipes too, always on the lookout for new vegan fare. FYI – My most recent yummy vegan-blog-dinner-find has been the macaroni and cheese I found at Vegangela.com

There is nothing like old movies their fashion style, typography, and other signage. Back then everything and everyone was so glamorous.

Hooray Vera!!!!!!!!!!!! I listened to that Film Noir podcast about Detour, & also the one for Out of the Past (which was particularly interesting). They point out things I never would have noticed – makes me want to watch them again!
