I’ve just popped by to say hi! Things might be a little quiet ’round these parts for the next couple of weeks as I’m busy preparing for my shop opening, but I shall be back soon, blogging like there’s no tomorrow. What are you doing this week? Do you have any creative projects messing up your work desk?
Urgh…children’s party next door. Lots of high-pitched squealing going on. Time for a walk I think!

Goody! I can’t wait to see your new shop. And is that your definition of a messy desk?
It gets messier!
That is the most artistic messy desk I have ever seen – it looks beautiful! And I LOVE your glasses!
I have two desks – home and work – both really messy, piled high with cards and books and paper and different types of sellotape, old pens, pretty pencils, bills that need filing… that kind of thing. I admire tidiness, but am not awfully good at it.
Thank you! I love those glasses too! They’re 1960s repro with a woodgrain finish.
ha ha THATS your messy desk? Can’t wait for your shop to open!
I’m a chronic procrastinator so if I leave my desks piled with stuff, it’s just another impediment to actually getting down to work, so I really like to keep the work surfaces totally clear!
Nice to be able to have a peek at your work!
Thanks Carly! :)
Where will your new shop be? I.e. etsy or elsewhere online or brick and mortar? Also, are you still doing stamps? Do you carve your stamps out by hand? Really excited about your shop opening. Best of luck!
Hi TJ!
I’m going to have my own shop here on my site, but will also be reopening my Etsy shop at the end of October too. I’ll be listing all of my original art on my own site though.
I’m not sure if I’ll be doing stamps again. Perhaps next year. My stamps are made using a photopolymer process – not hand-carved.
Thank you for your interest – I’m so glad you’re looking forward to my shop opening! :)
