I happened upon a store in Albuquerque that sells nothing but Japanese paper! I found it quite enthralling. The designs are fantastic, and they use amazing colors and metallic inks.
I don’t know what I’m going to do with all this Japanese paper quite yet, but it is amazing stuff.
Hey Julian…you & I were just posting at the same time! Spoooooky…
I love those Japanese papers…there are beautiful Thai & Indian papers too. Some of these strips are Japanese…like you, I just bought them because they’re pretty without having a plan in mind. :)
insanity can be a good thing…
I just found you by way of your etsy shop, and I think I’m in love. Like, falling off my chair adoring your work. Keep it up!
Those pieces of paper look so cute together, I’d not want to use them – I’d just look at them all the time. Cutting paper and fabric is a really calming activity for me. I can do it in front of the tv too.
ooooh these pictures make me drool.
i am also a paper junkie!
I almost knocked them all over onto the floor a few minutes ago!
I have a paper fetish, I just love it.
but you cut all those by hand…I think I would go blind, or insane.
Love it! haha my friends tell me I’m insane all the time–I take it as a compliment ;)
What I want to know is, how could somebody *not* have a paper fetish??
don’t know what it is about paper, but i really like your image with all the strips. very inviting!
I’m buried in paper. Always want more. But I can stop anytime I want. Really…
There’s no such thing as too much paper!
I’m not only impressed with the array, but the precision!
Can’t wait to see what you will do with thoses :) And I agree, how can anybody NOT be a paper fetish :)
